Job Title: Junior Accountant
Duration: 5
Key Responsibilities: Accounting for any/(all) revenue, expenses and all other financial transactions entered and administered by company.
Timely preparation, submission, reporting and control of client invoices
Manage operational offshore bank accounts, executing weekly payments. • Inter-company transactions and reconciliations
Prepares and reviews the accuracy of journal entries and analysis to assist in month-end financial close.
Monthly recons of all Balance Sheet items including reconciliations for banks, creditors, payroll, cash forecast etc.
Timely submission of statutory returns as and when requested by supervisor.
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting practices, good governance and risk management practice, as well as laws and regulations
Continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes in line with overall business/group objectives and needs
Uphold statutory requirements of Mauritius and the United Kingdom
Preparation of monthly payroll
Always uphold the values of the Group and Company
