About the Candidate

I’ve been working in the marketing/advertising industry for over 12 years now and am 33 years old, I’ve worked in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Berlin, the UK as well as with teams across the world. I assist brands with their online marketing strategies and help integrate with offline marketing efforts to ensure their KPIs are reasonable and being met via the various ad platforms. I also assist with the project management of marketing projects and building processes to streamline operations, including automating as much work as possible to improve productivity I also perform marketing research, digital analysis, media planning, media buying, landing page creation, proposal/pitch creation, campaign management in all social platforms and ad operations. I do however specialize in performance marketing. With main goals related to ROI and lead generation. I have pitched, built, implemented and optimized online campaigns and activities across various digital platforms for local and international brands, working closely with creative teams and developers.

Job Title: Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities: I am responsible for most marketing initiatives, with focus on performance marketing which includes paid and owned channels such as: Search, Display, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Email, SEO and the website.

I build quarterly marketing strategies for these, which I am then responsible for briefing the content team, design and approval of the creative assets which also includes project planning all campaigns, tasks, subtasks, deadlines and testing, before implementing these myself.

Every month I send a fully consolidated report including all marketing campaigns, initiatives and launches, with learnings and insights, covering all platforms and effect on website.

I am responsible for ensuring our Google Analytics ( we actually have 2 domains I manage) is correctly tracking and has events set up, along with tracking pixels and feed any trends, concerns or learnings to the team
