Key responsibilities: Creation of Business and Marketing Strategies for the new business – determination of the Vision, Mission, and short to medium-term objectives, including the development and management of the marketing budget
Design and Implementation of Marketing Plan (STP, Brand), Implementation and good practices
Marketing Research of prospective students with a particular focus on Gen Z – alignment with the target market was necessary to communicate the brand’s value. Interacting daily with Gen Z students has allowed for a clear understanding of the needs and wants of this generation for customer acquisition
Write and concept design content for blogs, website, email marketing, social media, events such as career expos, and traditional marketing media
Develop marketing campaigns and oversee the management of KBS Facebook and the KBS Instagram account.
Determine, design, and write content for social media themes
Design and delegation of all marketing programmes
Implement, oversee and approve all digital and traditional marketing activities
Oversee and approve all copy before public or internal dissemination
Attend and present to large numbers of matriculant and high school students at various high schools in the Johannesburg area on the benefits of studying with KBS
Developed some valuable relationships with L.O. teachers who allow extraordinary access to matric students or all dissemination of marketing material to the students
