Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and analyzing market trends
Studying competitors’ products and services
Strategic business analysis leading to marketing strategy
Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them
Identifying suitable consumer communication to drive sales
Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets
Implementation of marketing plans i.e. ATL & BTL communication, social media, in-store POS and PR
Category management – i.e. planograms
Managing the production of promotional & packaging material
Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and distribution
Liaising with suppliers such as advertising agencies, printers
Liaising with trade customers to support marketing initiatives
Producing reports to monitor results
Presenting findings and suggestions to company directors or other senior managers
Managing and coordinating consumer events, trade shows and consumer activations
Managing and coordinating new product launches.
Manage / support South African Grill academies & experiences.
Travelling to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings.
Co-ordinating marketing activities for distributor countries such as Greece, Dubai, Saudi Arabia etc.
Regular meetings with agencies to manage social media strategy.
Drive quality of Brand execution at retail partners both instore & online, delivering against merchandising guidelines, working with Sales Reps & external merchandisers
Manage the external promotions agency
Ensure all sales promotions are activated in the local market across POS & e-POS
Create impactful e-POS executions on key national retailer sites
Support Sales team to improve e-POS executions across all retailer sites
Monitor impact and compliance of POS & e-POS initiatives, identifying areas for improvement
Provide feedback to Shopper Marketing Manager on POS/e-POS solutions to improve future development
Assist retailers with ad- hoc requests for assets and access to Brand Folder database
Review and approve retailer generated advertising/communication
Update weber.co.za with relevant content as guided by the E-commerce Manager
Support local Weber stores with locally adapted toolkits
