About the Candidate

I continuously try to improve my design skills and stay relevant. All the companies that I have worked for had internal teams and departments in which I had to collaborate with other team members or departments, such as marketing or web development, to ensure a cohesive visual presence across different platforms and media. Time Management and Project Coordination were part of my workdays and I prioritized tasks to meet deadlines and managed multiple projects simultaneously. Quality Assurance formed part of my duties and I had to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in final designs, including proofreading, color accuracy, and layout adjustments. I provided guidance and creative input to other designers, as well as reviewed the designs before it was sent to clients for the initial proposal or final product production drawings.

Key Responsibilities: Visual Conceptualization: I would develop creative ideas and concepts for various design projects, based on client requirements and briefs. I would then create designs using various computer software programs (such as Adobe Creative Suite including After effects, Coreldraw, and Macromedia) to create original designs, logos, brochures, banners, illustrations, and other visual materials for online marketing including motion designs for various social media platforms.

 

Layout and Formatting: Arranging elements within a design, considering factors such as aesthetics, readability, and accessibility.

 

Typography: Choosing appropriate fonts and arranging textual content in a visually appealing and effective way.

 

Color Selection: Selecting suitable color schemes and palettes to enhance the overall visual impact of the design.

 

Image Editing and Enhancement: Manipulating and enhancing images, including retouching, cropping, and resizing.

 

Branding and Identity: Developing or maintaining visual brand identities, ensuring consistency across various marketing materials.

 

Client Communication: Interacting with clients to understand their design requirements, incorporating feedback, and presenting design concepts.

 

Print and Digital Production: Preparing and optimizing designs for print or digital distribution, including knowledge of file formats and resolution requirements.
