Account Management, Relationship Building, Budgeting, Reaching and exceeding targets, business development, growth and strategy
Key responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining regular contact with existing client, Platinum Key Accounts and Chemicals Distribution customers by calling/meeting and negotiating prices, retentions, promotions and/ or services escalated by commercial team.
Identifying market changes and forces that may influence the company overall at all times.
New business development, identifying new markets and conversion opportunities, building relationships & expanding contribution of core to adjacent products portfolios.
Manage Commercial Teams, admin, and warehouse teams to ensure everyone is in line with the culture of the company, Accountability, Team work, Togetherness, honesty, Diversity & service Excellence.
Monthly Pricing, bench-marked from intel given by the commercial teams, strategically price products in accordance to market trends.
Review Costings, Cost all core products from CIF Durban Port to EX Gauteng Warehouse to DDP customer.
Weekly/ Monthly Commercial meetings on Sales and budgets YTD & MTD.
Reporting on monthly sales reports against sales budgets and monthly/ yearly planning.
Work together with the teams to combat market changes and strategize ways to meet to monthly sales budgets.
Achieving and improving on annual agreed sales turnover vs actual sales with, maximum profits.
Approve discounts/ credits on a case by case scenario.
Review and submit monthly regional budgets.
